
Carin Sankus is an Artist and Educator who is passionate about craft histories and their relationship to contemporary painting. Carin earned an MFA from the University of Florida and a BFA in Ceramics from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2007. After graduation she was an Artist-in-Residence at The Clay Studio of Missoula and Peter’s Valley School of Craft. Carin taught high school arts classes before becoming a post-baccalaureate student at Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia. She is excited about the future of arts education and her work with several non-profit arts organizations. Carin shows her work nationally including the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts Student Juried Exhibition, co-juried by Sam Harvey and Martina Lantin at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Pittsburgh, PA. Carin is currently the Education Manager at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA.
